Gears
Gears are machine elements used to convert the mechanical input variable (drive) into the mechanical output variable (output). In this sense, they are also known as mechanical converters (transformers). If the primary purpose is to transmit power and motion (torque and speed), they are referred to as transmission gear units. If object points are guided along specific paths, then the term “guidance gear” is used. Using the transmission gear units from the Gefeg-Neckar assortment, the high speed and low torque of the motors during most applications can be adjusted to match the driven machine.
